Acard's ARS-2022D Copy Smart Plus is a standalone CD/DVD backup system supporting 16x speed DVD writers. No need for a connection to a computer and no steep learning curve, just easy and quick backup of your CD/DVDs in data, audio or video form.
Usually to back up a lot of CD/DVDs, you have to boot a computer, and execute the job via burning software and of course you have to spend time learning how to operate and repeating every step, too. In view of this, Acard produced these standalone duplication systems to meet the demand. They are easy to operate, and can back up many discs at one time.
Manufactured by Acard, this CD/DVD duplication system includes a 3-bay case and the ARS-2022D controller supporting 16x speed in full burning.
This 3-bay case will hold up to 2 drives (plus the controller). The normal setup would be 1 x DVD reader and 1 DVD Writer, allowing you to put 1 disc in and take 1 copy out. As an alternative a standard 3.5" IDE Hard Drive can be fitted inside for storing disc images.
We have tested these duplicators with the latest Pioneer and NEC DVD writers, complete with the latest firmware editions, and recommend an ASUS or Liteon DVD-ROM drive for DVD reading. It is recommended that all writers used in duplicators are the same manufacturer and model.
Please Note: When you buy this product, you will need to buy and fit the drives to make it all work. Drives are NOT included. Installation of DVD writers into the case is very easy and only takes a few minutes.
No mounting holes are in place for use of standard 3.5" hard drives and you will need to make your own screw holes for this or purchase the appropriate mounting brackets.
