1. Once fitted the device allows you to switch your DVD drive to flashing mode and to be flashed externally without ever having to open up your Xbox360 cases again. (This is NOT a flashing device - it is an external switching unit. To flash you need SATA or X360USB which connects to the Blaster360 EXTERNALLY!)
2. You can switch between normal 360 Mode and also to PC Mode (Flashing / Game Dumping)
3. For flashing you can connect direct to SATA (for Samsung) or use the X360USB (for Hitachi - currently the 078fk / 079fk only goes into modeb with the Slax v2 boot disc - the Connect Kit is not supported with the X360USB)
4. There is no cutting of any of the case whatsoever - it is a clean install with no damage.
5. Xecuter has included an Samsung MS28 Power on/off switch to make flashing simple.
6. Xecuter has optimized the design so it fits flush to the case and so you can also remove the hard drive with ease.
